"St. Chesterton" - Not to be confused with his cousin, Arthur Keith ChestertonReader comment on item: A 1914 Novel's Prescient Vision of Londonistan Submitted by Ludvikus (United States), May 28, 2014 at 10:27 Wonderful piece, by Daniel Pipes of course. As is known, the notorious "Protocols of Zion" are embodied (explicitly cited) in the 1988 charter of Hamas. But they were published by the virulently anti-Semitic, then- obscure, London propaganda organization, in 1920. A subsequent imprint received life on the printed page, under the editorship of Chesterton, that is the cousin, Arthur Keith Chesterton. As christianity may grant Sainthood to the former, it's probably important to dissociate the "devilish" cousin and "Anti-Christ" (the second Russian edition of "The Protocols" was an appendage to a book by the Russian Holy Man, Serge Nilus, published in 1905. And this "anti-Chesterton" currently "lives' on the web here (probably tarnishing the saintly namesake): http://semiticcontroversies.blogspot.com/2011/12/from-archive-ak-chestertons-learned.html I mention this because there is some controversy as to anti-Semitism regarding "Chesterton," which I maintain is partly dues to confusion over the "Saint" and his cousin, an "Anti-Christ." By the way, Nilus wasn't even original, I believe he plagiarized from Pavel Krushevan's 1903 Znamy imprint that preceded the Krusevan Pogrom in the Russian Empire. I write this, dear Daniel Pipes, in order to distinguish clearly the real anti-Semite Arthur Keith Chesterton - from the one you cite so eloquently herein.
