Democracy failed when Britain failed

In most non-Muslim places where the British Empire had a foothold, those places, after the Liberal government reigned in Britain, lost their grip on "democracy" and reverted to tribal warfare, anti-white, and anti-colonialist uprisings, aided by the Soviet Union (e.g., Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe; Tanzania, Kenya, even South Africa, to name a few). The "rebel" leaders in these African countries either had no conception of "democracy" or were utterly hostile to it. They were out for the loot that colonialism had created.
