This Is How You SonicReader comment on item: A 1914 Novel's Prescient Vision of Londonistan Submitted by TL Winslow (United States), May 28, 2014 at 20:31 The Chesterton novel isn't really prescient so much as logical. If it were prescient it would have shown Britain being taken over by mass Muslim immigration helped by a leftist fifth column, not military defeat. The setting up of Sharia isn't so hard to figure out since it's happened so many times. All one needs is enough Muslims. What's really so sad is that Brits are massively ignoring all the warnings coming out on the Internet as the Muslims move in and set up shop, er, Sharia. True to their nature, if they don't go terrorist they go to the top govt. officials to enact Sharia for them. Now anybody merely offending Muslims publicly is now subject to arrest throughout the U.K. After all, some Pakistani Muslims fought for Britain in WWI and actually killed some Muslim Ottomans for them, let's go visit the cemetery on the WWI Centennial :) I'm not giving up on Britain, but it's tempting to forget it and wallow in the past.
