Stop all crimes and all warsReader comment on item: Don't Put Terrorists on Trial Submitted by Michael Jacobs (Netherlands), Jul 14, 2014 at 07:17 We must not search for the ideal way to regard and treat crimes and acts of war, but end them. This involves a long-term process of self-inquiry and self-recognition. We must learn and teach methods of reconciliation, already in school, so that a person will no longer confuse his and other people's subjective opinions and prejudices with the absolute truth of his and their Being. We must start to spread and apply not just the letter of the law, but first and above all its just and loving spirit. Whereas weapons of war can only bring us misery and no protection even from ourselves, the practice of peace will bring us confidence and happiness.
