while its true that Israel does not use all of her military power against hamas and the like, it is also wise to never let your enemy know the full extent of your power. the islamist cause is to try Israels defenses to find her weakness and then strike. As the escalation of attacks begin to take on better sophistication and technology, Israel must also keep pace with these attacks.

What is truly sad is the general population of the gaza strip who may not agree with hamas, are the ones taking the blows of retribution and being sacrificed on the altar of hamas and islamists ideology which will use them as shields for their offenses, while Israel gets the blame from the world news for being to harsh in their response.
