"certain and nasty"

Agree 100% However, did we apply this principle years ago after the murder of US Marines in Lebanon, CIA officer Buckley in Lebanon then transported to Iran for defacto execution, or Colonel Richard Higgins kidnapped, tortured, executed by hanging by Hezbullah in Lebanon? After researching these events that are certainly on par with Benghazi, I come up with no response, pathetically nothing certain or nasty, nada, zip. Please do educate me if I am off base.

My point is that Republican presidents were in charge when these events were spawning and there was precious little criticism hurled at them for their lack of "certain and nasty" response.
