Dear Daniel,

I love you, but I was extremely disappointed with your failure to mention, even once, the clause in the Hamas Charter that calls for the destruction of the Zionist Entity. That clause proves that Hamas is not sending rockets to protest the occupation of Gaza, or even PA territory; rather, they are sending rockets to DESTROY Israel. How can you not mention it???

Furthermore, why did you not counter your opponent's claim that Israel was killing civilians with the fact Hamas terrorists inbed themselves amongst civilians thereby causing their deaths. Israel targets terrorists, Hamas targets civilians. Did you not see the YouTube video showing women and children gathering on the roof of a building that Israel publicly advertised to the Palestinians would be attacked by missiles?

Finally, why did you state that the Palestinian rockets were doing no damage to Israel? Your opponent pounded you with that statement. Palestinian rockets have caused many Israeli deaths over the past 12 years, have caused many injuries during the current round, some quite serious, and have seriously affected the psychological well-being of thousands of Israelis in the vicinity of Gaza. In addition, you should have stated that the Iron Dome is not 100% effective. Israel is fortunate that there were no deaths so far, but just one rocket getting through Iron Dome landing on a school or shopping center could kill hundreds of innocent civilians. It is for this reason that Paliestinian rockets are not acceptable.

It wouldn't have hurt for you to also mention how those so-called Palestinian civilians celebrate when a Jewish child is killed (e.g., Eyal, Gilad and Naphtali). Did anyone see any Israeli celebrate when any Palestinian man, women or child is killed?

Daniel, I have tremendous respect for your scholarship, but I was very disappointed with this debate.
