Some of my reflections on the 'debate'

She got the chronology wrong. Almost all the limitations imposed on the population of Gaza did not come with the Israeli pull out. They came later as a response to various terror attacks. The border crossings were periodically subjected to explosions and exploited to smuggle suicide bombers into Israel proper which btw is all considered by Hamas (PA is not much different in this regard) an occupied territory.

Here is a point to challenge the viewers of Press TV. Israel has urged the residents of part of Gaza to evacuate their area so Israel can fight Hamas and save the collateral damage. Hamas told those people, stay. If you stay the IDF will be unable to attack. Hamas actually admitting two things contradicting what they have been claiming all the time:

1). IDF is an inhuman army deliberately targeting civilians.

2). They do not use civilians as human shields.

One more point, Daniel. At this point of time I wouldn't be so generous. Stopping the rocketing of Israel by Hamas – we have been there before. What we need now is the dismantle of Hamas arsenal, preferably with international assistance. We also need some reliable mechanism to stop them from farther rearming.
