Advice to the world media

Dear Dr Pipes:

With Israels recent military operations in the ME, the world media is once again full of reports criticizing the atrocities committed by IDF. Those who hate war so much should give peace a chance and begin with peace inside the Islamic world. Can the Islamists and their supporters do something to bring the fratricidal killings in the Islamic world to an end?

For the Israel-Hamas conflict we can blame Israel but whom should we blame for the killings in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, Egypt, Pakistan and more? Even those who proclaim that Islam is the religion of peace cannot deny the culture of violence that Islamic societies harbor.
