All people of good will must speak out

Thank you Dr. Pipes for speaking out on behalf of the good people everywhere. Although Israel agreed to the Egyptian peace proposal while Hamas turned it down, and is trying hard to avoid casualties, it is portrayed in a very negative light. I just read an article online by Charles Krauthammer where he gives the facts and details about the history of Gaza from the time the Israelis left and handed over complete possession to the Palestinians.

The Israelis wanted the people living in Gaza to succeed and gave them 3,000 greenhouses so they could develop a flourishing economy. Unfortunately this opportunity was not taken advantage of. I believe there are many people of good will on both sides. The determination and efforts of these people must be encouraged and reinforced by the world community. The only solution which will work is a win win situation. The momentum which is gained can be applied to other difficult situations.
