Heard a Russian Israeli media analyst say that Russia's RT has actually changed its tune

She was on Israeli television discussing RT's television coverage and saying this time it's quite the opposite of the Israeli-bashing we'd come to expect. She seemed very surprised. I don't look at RT's site (or its tv channel) but perhaps the article you saw is an anomaly or perhaps there's a difference between their television channel and their website.

She concluded by saying Russia is signalling it has no sentiments, only interests.

I think it might also be down to Egypt getting close to Russia and to Israel's refraining from condemning Russia's takeover of Crimea.
