Crunch CrunchReader comment on item: Are Millions Worldwide Protesting Israeli Actions? Submitted by Michael S. (United States), Jul 21, 2014 at 13:40 I'm not awfully moved by gatherings of expat Palestinians, renegade Jews and Liberals in places like Sweden, France, Australia and Argentina. Their turnout is especially pathetic when one considers that they have been planning and waiting for these demonstrations for years. What does move me, is the following: "Israel, for its part, is fighting for the first time in its history with solid Arab backing from the Egyptian-Saudi-United Arab Emirates bloc. So determined are its members to obliterate the Muslim Brotherhood that they have virtually blacklisted Qatar for supporting the Brothers and for patronizing the Palestinian Hamas, regarded as the MB's paramilitary arm." Turkey wasn't mentioned. The picture below shows the anti-Israel demonstration in Ankara on 18 July. It's the biggest "crowd" scene I could find (The other pics show a few heads, some Pally flags and lots of sky): http://d30fl32nd2baj9.cloudfront.net/media/2014/07/19/turkey5.jpg/ALTERNATES/w300/Turkey5.jpg Turkey is one of Israel's most dangerous enemies that isn't currently embroiled in a fratricidal civil war. If that's all they can muster, Israel needn't be daunted. They will do well, to use this opportunity to crush HAMAS. Cruuuuuuuuunch! Iran is next?
