RT coverage is slanted against IsraelReader comment on item: Are Millions Worldwide Protesting Israeli Actions? Submitted by Michael S (United States), Jul 23, 2014 at 12:39 RT is one of my bookmarks, which I often read to get a balanced point of view. It is, of course, Russian state propaganda; but then, most news sites are state and private BS. Here are some of today's headlines there concerning Israel: "Anonymous pledges more cyber-breaches over Israeli attacks" (anti-Israel, portraying the victims as the aggressors) "Palestinians are Warsaw Ghetto prisoners of today" (disgustingly anti-Israel and anti-Semitic headline) "Former UN Amb. Bill Richardson on the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict..." (I haven't read the article; though it's journalistic dishonesty to label the current conflict as "Israeli-Palestinian". It is Israel vs. anti-Israel terrorists, particularly HAMAS. Israel is not fighting its Palestinian Arab population) Compared with blatantly anti-Semitic countries, such as the UK, these Russian headlines are mild indeed; but they are very slanted. For reference, analogous BBC headlines are: "France jails pro-Palestinian rioters" "Thousands march over Gaza crisis" "We don't want civilians to die" "French Jews afraid to be Jewish" "Hospital on conflict's front line" There is a hint of impartiality in the above; but beneath the extremely thin veneer is the sickeningly sweet Pally narrative of "Israeli aggression against innocents". RT is a breath of fresh air. by comparison.
