Sign of the Times

It says something about the crazy times we're living in that a statement such as hers, which simply reiterates common sense, can be newsworthy and controversial. Her position would have been so obvious to all that in the past it wouldn't even have to have been stated---and now, she's probably dealing with public accusations of "racism" at best, and perhaps flirting with hate-speech criminal charges at worst.
