The Caliphate Brings Trauma - internal trauma.Reader comment on item: The Caliphate Brings Trauma Submitted by rodney allsworth (Australia), Aug 24, 2014 at 23:06 interesting Daniel, however you may be right but you haven't allowed for the Islamic sectarian issue here, it involves the idea of 2 men on an island, they both want to -govern- only one will be standing in the end run, same with the Sunni and the Shia sects of Islam. just look at any Islam war and you will see it in action, just look at how thw Sunnis ruled Iraq under Saddam, and then the Shias ruled in govt when Maliki was in power, then as soon as they changed head man-the Sunnis- DECIDED THEY WOULD NOT ASSIST GETTING RID OF THE- SUNNI, IS, CALIPHATE- UNLESS THEY ARE GIVEN POWER IN GOVT AGAIN, so for all our western predictions anyone can conjure up, my bet is that Islam will destroy itself internally. rod qld aust Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
