Khalifatu Allah or Khalifat Rasul AllahReader comment on item: The Caliphate Brings Trauma Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Aug 26, 2014 at 07:12 Very interesting point. Well el-Baghdadi would like to see the ultimate goal of Muslims and that is to recreate the times of al-Khulafa' al-Rashiduun which is supposed to be the ideal and perfect time for Islam and Muslims but what Muslims and non Muslims got was mayhem, wars, murder, looting and all and not unlike what you see in Iraq today and indeed 3 out of four of al-Khulafa' al-Rashiduun were murdered by other Muslims So at this stage he would regard himself as Khalifatu Allah (not unlike what we have in Shia Islam) or the spokesman for Allah on earth or he is in charge of the profane and the sacred and if the Islamic State is to survive then in a few years the Ulama would catch up with him and he will be only Khalifat Rasul Allah or he will be in charge of the profane and the Ulama would be in charge of the sacred and this is indeed what happened in what was to become Sunni Islam The Mahdi is really a different story and the Mahdi is about the end of time
