It Matters, Because It's Obama

I think President Obama uses less common terminology to pose as an intellectual superior. This might have real consequences, though. Witness Obama's response to the beheading of American our almost James Foley by ISIS: he feigned concern while referring to Foley by the faux-familiar title "Jim," yet then quickly returned to playing golf and enjoying himself. Like a good senior bureaucrat during a meeting, President Obama drops acronyms and names that no one knows or uses in order to preserve his position, without ever addressing the issues that his position is supposed to address.
