folly of the 'experts'

Wishful thinking. .

IS will consolidate and expand over the next months, with support from Islamists throughout the world, while we listen to 'experts telling us why it cannot survive.

If we 'sophisticated' and egotistical Westerners have learned anything at all, it should be that the cancer of Islamism cannot be defeated by democratic niceties which protect the rights of those that are ideologically intent on its destruction towards global domination.

Reagan was right, a single generation of ignorant and complacent voters can undo the progress for which tens of millions sacrificed their lives.
