Saying 'It was willed by God' does not make you a fatalist

Dear Dr Pipes,

Saying that whatever happened was the will of God does not make you a fatalist. So when you hypothesize that Muslims may be fatalists, I must disagree with you. In fact, as you pointed out in the blog above when it comes to Islamic activism, no sect and and cause surpasses Muslims desire to act (and fight) for Islam.
