Educational UpdateReader comment on item: Are Muslims Fatalists? Submitted by Uncle Vladdi (Canada), Sep 25, 2015 at 19:14 Textural Critics (an academic discipline) and Biblical scholars generally agree that the Book of Mark was the first Gospel, dictated by Cephas (aka 'Saint Peter') to his scribe, Mark, within 20 years of Jesus' death. They also agree that the other two similar gospels - Matthew and Luke - were extrpolations from, and elaborations on, that one, original Gospel. So, if something at least similar isn't found in Mark, then it is held to have been added in by persons unknown at a much later time. John is of course quite different. As for King Judah, I meant King Judah (Yehudah) from whence the term "Jew" originates, not David. ;-) Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
