Why only a century?
Reader comment on item: Ending a Century of Palestinian Rejectionism

I am surprised Dr Pipes only takes this back a century. Surely Hosseini's monstrous hatred of the Jews didn't just start with him. Was he not following the example of Mohammed and the teachings of the Koran?

No, Husseini was not just following traditional ways but had invented something new in his genocidal antisemitism. In this, he parallels Hitler as an innovator.
