Assyria (in Isaiah's sime) = Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan.

I am continually in his company, so maybe you should look into what I have to say.

I don't see Ammon or Amman figuring into any end-times prophecies, other than their possibly being on the "road" mentioned in Isaiah 19.

Concerning ISIS, I really can't say. Do you want to fit them into prophecies? Geographically, they approximate Assyria in Isaiah's time. Certainly, an entity in that location is indicated in the end of Isaiah 19:

22] And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.
[23] In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.
[24] In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:
[25] Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.

Now, just imagine President Sisi, Binyamin Netanyahu, Jordan's King Adbullah and the Calif of ISIS all holding hands. Can you imagine it? I can't. Nope, I can't. In fact, "Assyria" would more properly include Lebanon, all of Syria and all of Iraq. That can only happen, if either Russia defeats ISIS or ISIS defeats Russia. All those counries are left out of the Ezekiel 38-39 prophecy; but the next tier of countries, namely, Iran,Turkey, Libya and Sudan, Are all prominently mentioned.

Why is this?
