The Real ThreatReader comment on item: ISIS' Imminent Demise Submitted by Bill (United States), Dec 6, 2015 at 09:24 Dr. Pipes: You wrote: "This could follow on some combination of internal revolt, internecine feuds, economic collapse, and external attack. And when that happy day comes, we can all focus on the real "unprecedented threat to international peace and security," namely nuclear weapons in the hands of Iran's apocalyptic leadership." (December 5, 2015) Yes, I agree. But, is not the immigration of Muslims into the west a great(er) threat? What ISIS or Iran coud not do massive numbers of Muslims can do, that is, practice political, social, cultural, economic and demographic jihad (i.e. struggle to impose or implement Islam). Are not "liberal" Muslims pseudi-Islamic and completely irrelevant to the geopolitics and the national and local politics of Islam, irrelevant, other than to weaken our resolve to resist and denounce Islam? Also, isn't the term "radical Islam" a misnomer and an obfusction. Isn't someone like President Erdogan or Anjem Choudary or a host of other Muslims correct in asserting there is no "radical Islam," there is only Islam? But the UNSC resolution etc., are focused on just ISIS and so am I in this particular analysis. Reader comments (47) on this item
