Let the US military offer ISIS a compromise. ISIS wants to go back to islamic middle-ages. Let the US military take them back to the stone-age as a compromise and ISIS could take it from there.

All it would take, and I agree, is infantry, "ground troops" in today's twisted language. Again as a compromise the US Army could, at a later stage of course, bring horses to the battle and fix bayonets in order to honor the late Osama bin Laden as well as the rather recent Barack Obama.

To put the number of 50000 in context. It equals no more than the number of spectators earmarked as targets in the football arena during the Paris attacks.

ISIS may seem to own the world "victory" these days but the West still commands the military to actually achieve it.
