Agree with Dr Pipes but...

I think one can agree with Dr Pipes' assertion about ISIS in its current form but it is a narrow goal in the grand scheme of things. Without a long term strategy to defeat and defang Islamism we are quite doomed. ISIS will keep morphing from one monster into another. There does not seem to be a coherent strategy for defeating Islamism once and for all from either US or Europe.
