The Arrogance of the United States in Presuming to Know What's Best for IsraelReader comment on item: Does Israel Need U.S. Jewish Support? Submitted by Robert (United States), Apr 19, 2016 at 03:54 Dear Daniel Pipes, Here is (linked below) an Associated Press article just published by the New York Times. I find it incredibly amazing at how American politicians and statesmen, especially left-leaning Democrats, rail about the only Democracy of Israel in the midst of the Arab Spring chaotic Middle East while vehemently opposing the right-of-center govern policy. Almost every American political leader within the left of center Democratic party presumes to know better than Israelis that a Two-State Solution is the way to go, and that Settlements are bad for Israel in the long run. These are, Ironically, the same protagonists who also oppose American Imperialism - yet they do not see their own stand as an attempt to impose an American policy upon the Israelis. The way Bernie Sanders puts it, Netanyahu isn't always write. Perhaps Netanyahu should tell Obama that he's not always right, and that Netanyahu knows better what's best for the United States. In particular, the policies adopted by democratically elected Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel are wrong, says Biden (see link below). Can some convince Biden to convert to Judaism, move to Israel, and run for the office of Prime Minister? Why should any American be permitted to presume to know what's better for Israel Biden: 'Overwhelming Frustration' With Israeli Gov't
