Islamists came out of the woodwork

All of the US Islamists condemned the coup immediately, even going so far as to rally in support of Erdogan.

Those who accuse outside govts of complicity seem to overlook how poorly organized (or perhaps that makes sense in retrospect...)

It was a sad day so see it fail, and worse, the consequences to those who supported it (or are suspected to have). We can only hope that the massive sweep of the purge wakes some Turkish people up.
