Q7:161 Bani Israeel and is it Beit al-Maqdas or is it Ariha? And more evidence that Allah is a Zionist!Reader comment on item: Trump's Recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's Capital – What Does It Mean? Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Dec 17, 2017 at 07:46 Hi Mike Never trust translations of the Qur'an written by Muslims As for the Quranic text? In most cases the verses have no meaning without reading al-Tabari and the very early Mufasereen So here is your translation >Also, from Qur'an 007.161: " And (remember) when it was said to them: "Dwell in this town (Jerusalem) and eat therefrom wherever you wish, and say, '(O Allâh) forgive our sins'; and enter the gate prostrate (bowing with humility). We shall forgive you your wrong-doings. We shall increase (the reward) for the good doers." 1. The word Jerusalem is not in the text 2. The verse talks about a قرية or Allah is telling Bani Israeel to inhabit this قرية or Qarya but the word قرية in Arabic means village and not city and as usual al-Mufasereen come to the rescue and Ibn Kathir tells us it is البلدة or the city 3. Then Ibn Kathir tells us that this البلدة is either Beit al-Maqdas (Jerusalem) but he does not call it Aurshaleem (Arabic word for Jerusalem) OR أريحا or Ariha or Jericho This really means he does not know as usual 4. However he also wrote is his tafsir that Allah told Bani Israeel to go and live in the Holy Land that they inherited from their father Israel (Notice that al-Mufasereen had no clue what the word Israel really means) Allah also tells Bani Israeel to EXPEL the inhabitants of this holy land! Here is a link to Ibn Kathir's tafsir http://quran.ksu.edu.sa/tafseer/katheer/sura7-aya161.html And more evidence that Allah is a Zionist and that the Quran is a confused and confusing book PS: Here is the shameful translation of Sahih International and BTW there is no mention of the name Muhammad in the aya as you will find in this despicable translation https://quran.com/7/161 Thank you for a very interesting post
