Depends on Perspective - Pessimism for whom; victims of wrong ideologyReader comment on item: Reservations about the Trump Peace Plan Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Feb 3, 2020 at 12:58 Let's not mince words -'Palestinians' were never going to win; they are at best pawns 'en passant' as the Persian strategy gives nothing, concedes nothing to the ideology they propose will win them power over the land of Abraham, Isaac, and the children of Jacob, namely Israel. The Middle East specifically, and the world generally, are on a global course towards an ultimate conclusion, one that very few are all that enthusiastic about, as this response and other opinions appear all too willing to conclude. In short, the reality of the "President Trump 'Peace to Prosperity" is not to promise peace with specific conditions, but to demonstrate that peace is never acceptable to those who practice 'hudna.' Unless and until the concept of a sovereign Israel is recognized in its kingdom authority, the world gets no peace. The narrative to that effect has been written long ago and to this day it is still misunderstood.
