Continuing The Thinking That The Ottoman Regime is Still Expanding Its Future DestinyReader comment on item: A Short Conversation with Daniel Pipes Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Aug 19, 2020 at 23:43 As the eastern Mediterranean is still under threat from expanding territorial ambitions of Turkey, the wondering as to how Leader Erdogan believes he can continue to do so without consequences forces a deeper apprehension that they will not stop, ever; unless forced to. With all the region now wondering how the UAE deal is expected to affect other territorial ambitions is making or not making peace without deference to the 'Palestinian' ambitions of seeking their own domain, the incompatibility of ambitions now appear to be in a strange way, part of a strategic circumstance of foreplay. In the background is still the Iranian intrigue. Is that Erdogan's foil? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
