Anticipating a Catastrophic Precursor to a Climactic Interruption of the End
Ever since the commencement of this current year's most dramatic convulsion of epidemic proportions, the COVID-19 pandemic, the entirety of civilization is struggling to get past the effects of the virus, only to find that 'getting past' those effects is not happening in the way the 'medics' are prognosticating; they cannot agree on what needs to be accomplished; they do not know enough, they claim; and still they are calling for compliance to the science they cannot prove. In actuality, the circumstances are telling; it is far beyond their ability, but we are called out to trust the science. But which science, we ask: which science is telling us the truth?
Just how bad has it come to has yet to be determined; and there is no true projection of when it might end. Even trying to recall the circumstances of the influenza epidemic of more than a hundred years ago has been compromised by opinions of those times and not relying upon empirical evidence of what really happened. How might that help to categorize the seriousness of the times we are in now. The truth is, we are in the situation of assessing which perception of the circumstances is going to assist in developing the best results in surviving the pandemic.
So where is the evidence of how bad all of this can get and what will be the best way to deal with it. Science has attempted and failed. An alternate resort has been proffered and although there are the scoffers in droves to counter what is to be suggested next, it cannot be ignored any longer. Modern civilization does not have answers either, since science has been the driver through the exponentially mounting sources of technology, and still they cannot even agree what is the best defense or vaccine to stop the virus.
A small part of many of the populations are resorting to the higher court of the religious sort. Even at the outset of the first outbreak, congregations of faith were actively seeking the resources of intervention by prayer, which is still in operation but seriously compromised by extra-legalistic interruptions of overextended governmental regulations, science driven. One place where this is going to become a situation of hostility (actually, this is already a hot spot of contention), the high holy days of the Jewish congregation, now coming into view for many. There is nothing in the Talmud that can prepare the Jewish mind for how to celebrate the high holy days commencing with Rosh Hashanah, since there has been no temple for centuries and celebration of requirements of the Torah and its instructions has yet to be fully restored.
Israel becomes the focus here. COVID-19 has got the government of Israel wrapped in all sorts of disconnected attempts to gain control of the country and no one seems to have any better consensus than in, say, the United States, of how to beat the effects of the COVID-19 malady. It is psychologically impairing as well as physically challenging, fear seizing the mind and stress seizing the physicality in paralyzing all aspects.
Distractions like the peace agreement now being passed around the region do not foretell the reality of what a disaster is around the corner; that if the pandemic does not forestall the ambitions of the enemies of Israel from rebelling against the peace being offered to the Jewish State, this may bear out as an opportunity while Israel is perceived in a compromised situation by enemies that have no respect for the pandemic-it becomes a weaponized tool, just as it was envisioned when released.
But again, since humanity toys with things it does not understand, we will resort to a higher understanding of what this pandemic really portends-a message to forewarn those who are paying attention. Games of throne and empires in cyber toy rooms do not tell of the real terror about to commence as modern totalitarian ambitions are on the loose and precursors to what is next are now playing out on international screens.
Israel is finding that ancient prophetical pronouncements have modern consequences; and COVID-19 is part of this. Read in the ancient Hebrew Holy Writ that wars and pestilences are companion maladies, and this is going to be no different. HaShem is knocking on the hearts He is rebuilding, as is it is written in Ezekiel; who is preparing for the eventuality of the coming high holy days that Zechariah and Malachi speak of?
Make no mistake, there will be a peace in Jerusalem; but it is not on the heels of the UAE agreement, nor the one after. It will come from the true Peacekeeper, the promised Holy One of Israel; when He steps into His Temple of the future, in Israel. Baruch HaShem Adonai.
