Continuing The Thinking That The Ottoman Regime is Still Expanding - Recalling Lost Memory

Erdoğan continues on his path he has embraced as his destiny, his identity: caliph. It is becoming more apparent he has even less of a concern that the path he leads others of like thinking to become the Islam of the future runs totally counter to the ambitions of others in the region; that eventually, the collisions on the immediate horizon are merely incidents of unfortunate calamities waiting for their turn to unfold.
He makes the anachronistic claim that Jerusalem is Turkey's by asserting the former Ottoman regime is still title holder, all the while not recognizing the Ottoman's hold was by conquered possession, which by similar conquering, the Ottoman's ceased to have possession. For his claim to have validity, he needs to reconquer, by deeds, not words. Otherwise his words are the empty boasts of dead empires.
