Republicanism - Lost to Ambitions of Pride - Just Like Ancient Romans to Unrestrained Democracy

Unless anyone has missed the moment, the ghost (read dark spirit here) of Roman elitism has cast its pall of mesmerizing the whole of humanity into believing a better way of mortal life is on the horizon, all at the same time that freedom is being squandered on the likes of the elites who have no sense of sharing the good things; accumulation of the 'good things' being stolen for the lack of moral direction - which the Romans accomplished to the detriment and destruction of the nation (empire).
