Israel needs the kind of leadership that inspires victoryReader comment on item: Poll: Israelis Want Victory, Preferably without Paying the Price Submitted by Dave (United States), Jun 8, 2021 at 21:56 If one looks back at some crises that have challenged the free world, there have been a few leaders who have risen to the challenge. Against Hitler, there was Winston Churchill, a man whose eloquence was matched by his angry defiance and moral outrage. He rallied Britain in her darkest hour, and inspired her to carry on despite daunting losses. Against Soviet tyranny, there was President Reagan, outspoken in his denunciation of the Axis of Evil. He was able to arouse the moral indignation of people around the world and was bold about a strong military deterrence. The Soviet Union collapsed and her empire shrank.
