"It is always the money" that is the slogan of the anti-Semites accuse the Jews that they worship money. Let's set aside what the anti-Semites say the central thesis of your comment is that the world will not let Israel to be destroyed because it has too much invested in it, and it needs Israel because it is important part of the supply chain. You point out the insanity of the Palestinians that don't follow the logic of Albert Einstein and doing the same thing over and over again and expecting that someone will destroy Israel for them.
I have news for you Israel is in the Middle East and Einstein logic doesn't apply there. It reminds me about a story of a scorpion that begged the frog to ferry him over the Nile. The frog said why should I do it you will sting me I will drown. The scorpion replied then I will drown as well. That convinced the frog in the middle of Nile the scorpion stung the frog and both of them were about to drown. The frog yelled at the scorpion why did you do it? The scorpion replied don't ask for logic we are in the Middle East.
The motto of Chamas is "Allah is our objective; the Prophet is our leader; the Quran is our law; Jihad is our way; dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope." Many Westerners like you think that all this is just chest thumping, and they don't mean that. They not only mean that, but they are brainwashing all the young people of Gaza from early childhood that dying for sake of Allah is sure entrance ticket to the paradise with all its pleasures. So, the last thing that they will consider is the economic effect of destruction of Israel on the economy of the world. Although they are ready to die for Allah they realize quickly that the risk of dying for sake of Allah is not high because Israel does whatever it can not to harm them. Their interpretation is that the Israelites are behaving like that not because they are good people, but Allah made them behave like that supply them food, water and electricity, medical help and do whatever they can and not to harm them. The propaganda that comes from Hamas affects also Muslims that are living under Israeli rule as we have seen that during the recent war. It was sufficient to incite them to attack their Jewish neighbors physically, destroy their property and destroy the Jewish place of worship.
It doesn't take a lot to incite the Muslims because it is part of their genome product of many successive generations. To summarize I hope that Israels government will not adopt the ideas that Israels security and survival is guaranteed by the economic factors that you raised . On the contrary I do expect that the next war will be an all-out war with the objective to wipe Israel off the map. Israel will need the fortitude to use without hesitation all the means that are at its disposal to destroy and annihilate those that will have no hesitation or scruples to annihilate the Jews of Israel, women children, and men, and bring on the next holocaust. The notion of civilized and humanitarian war is an oxymoron a dangerous delusion that only gullible Jews believe in. It is time that Israel drops the slave mentality of the Diaspora (Galut) of "What will the goyim say" (Ma yagidu hagoyim). It is time for the goyim listen to what Israel says and it should be common sense statement that Israel will destroy completely in an all-out war any state or area controlled by terrorists that declares that it wants wipe Israel of the map. Any nation that wants to keep their nationals out of harm way should evacuate its citizens from those countries and areas controlled by regime that is committed to wiping Israel off the map. This addresses what to do with Israel's external enemies, but Israel also needs to reconsider drastically how to deal with the Israeli Arabs. Although the accusation that Israel deals with its non-Jewish citizens same as South Africa dealt with its black citizens i.e., apartheid is patently false. However, it cannot be denied that Israel is not integrating its non-Jewish citizens to be equal to its Jewish citizens to have the same rights and obligations to the state of Israel. To be truthful it cannot also be denied that there are Jewish citizens that are not integrated in the culture and economy of Israel and do not have the same obligations as the majority of Jewish citizens of Israel. I'm referring to the ultra-orthodox Jews that call themselves Haredim.
The only way to overcome this problem is to remove completely the involvement of the state of Israel in the religious affairs of its citizens. Religion IF AT ALL has to be limited to personal belief of each and every one of its citizens. The state of Israel should declare that it is a secular irreligious state and stop subsidizing any religion directly and indirectly. Proselytizing for any religion should be banned, religious activities must be funded solely by money collected from the worshipers. External funding either by state actors or individual donations should be banned and confiscated. The official ID that each person is obliged to have should not mention the religion of that person. There should be one statewide education curriculum which teaches both official languages Arabic and Hebrew to educate all children to be fluently bilingual. The curriculum should not contain any religious subjects whether Jewish, Muslim or Christian. It should concentrate on sciences, arts and literature. All religious schools whether Jewish, Muslim, or Christian must be closed Also Israel should modify the law of to grant right to immigrate to Israel to people which will contribute to the economy and culture of Israel. I believe that the ideas that I have articulated are closest to the policy of Israel Betenu as stated by its leader Avigdor Liberman. Let make it clear my comment is mine alone not vetted by A.
