Media and the Islamic ideologs warming up to Israel? I doubt it.Reader comment on item: The Key Issue of Hamas vs. Israel Submitted by Prashant (United States), Sep 4, 2021 at 14:08 Dear Dr Pipes, your reader TINSC hypothesized that there was some softening in the attitude of the media and Muslims toward Israel. TINSC proposed that this softening could be because of Israel being a major part of the global supply chain. I hope that TINSC is right and the enemies of Israel start becoming thankful to Israel instead of being its perpetual enemies but I have my doubts about it. Islamic attitudes do not change that easily. When I read the social media posts by Muslim sounding names, I only see voices of victimhood, irresponsibility, hypocrisy, and blame for others. I am not a very tough buyer. Very small things will make me very happy. If a few prominent Muslims just say that century long unabated diatribes of Muslims against Jews in particular and all other religions in general, was a historical mistake, I will be very pleased. But that is unlikely to happen. Israel's technological supremacy may not last for ever. I hope it is not the only reason for peace and understanding.
