Agree with JeffReader comment on item: How Ukrainian Refugees Could Inadvertently Erase the West Submitted by Prashant (United States), Jul 25, 2022 at 09:26 Dear Dr Pipes, As a very thankful Indian immigrant to the USA and tired of the current leftist woke politics, I concur with Jeff 100%. I can completely understand if Western societies and people are willing to help the Ukrainians more than they would help, say, Syrians or Indians or Chinese. Recently when the neighbor Srilanka was in a financial crisis, India was the main country who provided material support to Srilanka. It only made sense. If neighbors don't help each other who will? If Europe should not help Ukraine, who should/would? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
