I Agree: No accusations of being a closet Islamist by Dr. Daniel Pipes

I apologize to you, Dr. Daniel Pipes, if I was insensitive to someone misreading what I wrote.

My reference was to your research regarding the Conspiracy Theories - and not that you subscribe to them. But I can see now how what I wrote could be misunderstood, and I apologize for this sloppiness of mine on your blog, where I am not only privileged to comment, but have you actually read the same (I hope it is you? haha).

I know of no wring by you in which you accused the Prince of Wales (now Charles III), or President Obama of being secret Muslims.

Regarding the King I was merely writing of the benefits his "making nice" to Islam now will have in his reign. I was not, in any way, criticizing the views of Dr. Daniel Pipes. In fact, I do not even know what they are because I never considered that of sufficient significance to the subject of the Middle East.

Regarding President Obama, I have, on my own, speculating on the influence of Islam in Obama's past and what influence if might have had on the failure to Veto the anti-Israel Resolution in Obama's last days in office. I had no intention somehow to suggest that Dr. Daniel Pipes maintains that Obama is a secret Muslim. This, in fact, is one those conspiracy theories, and I know that Dr. Daniel Pipes is against Conspiracy Theories.

Furthermore, I do not think it is proper for me to paraphrase Dr. Daniel Pipes on his own web site. Anyone who wants to know what Dr. Daniel Pipes subscribes to ideological should read his excellent writings carefully - and to the very bottom of the page. But unfortunately too many do not do that, especially quasi-intellectuals, or pseudo-intellectuals (John Esposito?).
