The more guillable fall for the 72 virgins, and the more idealistic do it because it gives them a sense of purpose. But the bottom line is that they are just mentally deranged.

doesn't matter. some people have to be promised virgins, others will do it for free. Evil is evil, no matter what the motivation.

They may be crazy, but at least they aren't killing other people, so they aren't a threat to World security, only to themselves, unfortunately for them.

But such rhetorical fly-paper is just designed to get people engaged in debating silly things, and putting them off the real target, which is getting the message out about how savage and evil Islam is, as is obvious from their anti-social behaviour, because...
