Background of the Curious Interpretation of Secularism in India, vis-a-vis Islamic Jihad

I need to fill in the background a little for those who are bewildered about the Indian scenario, especially in the light of the latest move by the Indian government to ban select blogs.

Pakistan and what is known as Bangladesh were carved out of India in 1947 by the British pursuing a policy of appeasement of Muslims, in full connivance with Gandhi and Nehru. Thereafter, following the bloodiest partition in history, India was declared a Secular nation where the Muslims could live under full protection of the State. Majority of the Muslims never left India, while Hindus were mercilessly driven out of the East and West Pakistans. The jihadis continued to plot to complete their unfinished business of Islamisation of India.

In 1971, after the formation of Bangladesh, Prime Minister Z. A. Bhutto set up the infrastructure for producing the Islamic nuclear bomb, with active assistance from West Asian nations like Saudi Arabia (and Iran). After he was hanged following a military coup, Gen. Zia-ul-Haq brought Pakistan under Shariat Law, as an Islamic nation actively pursuing the policies of jihad! After Zia's assassination in a military coup, this was given wider credence under the Musharraf regime, and the results are there for all to see.

Right until the 1980s the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir had a thriving tourist economy. After the end of the Cold War, this was the first casualty of the jihadis, when Kashmir was ethnically cleansed of its Hindu population, not yet fully rehabilitated in other parts of India. Bangladesh too has done the same to its Hindu minorities, but the Indian government is not concerned, nor is any of it reported by the ‘free' mainstream media. Even then, illegal immigrants from Pakistan and Bangladesh continue to swell the ranks of slum dwellers all over India, and proclaim jihad against the Hindus, protected by Muslim leaders and the vote bank politics of those in power.

The only Hindu Kingdom on earth, in Nepal, stands dissolved this year, in the face of a successful insurgency under the leadership of the Christian Maoist terrorist, Prachanda. Nepal has continued to serve as an effective launching pad for ISI-sponsored jihadi terrorists against India. Small pockets of Hindus in Bali, Malaysia and Thailand are now living under the active threat of Al Qaeda.

It is a fact that the Muslim minority is the safest and most pampered in India, of all countries in the world, despite the nature and extent of jihadi provocation! However, for the leftist media, jihad in India begins as the direct outcome of Hindu fundamentalism, when the disputed Babri Masjid built over one of the holiest of Hindu temples was destroyed in 1992 after decades of slaughter of Hindus in Punjab, Kashmir, Delhi and other parts of India. This single act has tarred the Hindu reaction on par with on-going jihadi terrorism in the world at its barbaric worst! Later, Hindu retaliation for the heinous burning to death of women and children pilgrims in the passenger train in Godhra by the jihadis was used in a twisted manner to project Hindus as terrorist outcastes by the communist-controlled media. Majority Hindus have remained patient, long-suffering and law-abiding people through it all. But there is a time to say enough is enough.

Now India is the 10th wealthiest nation in the world, and an avowed non-proliferating, responsible nuclear power. Its Hindu population has crossed a strong invisible boundary of tolerance of the jihadi menace in its midst, following the dastardly Mumbai train bombings, with intelligence inputs of worse to come!

The Muslims, who have been harbouring the terrorists and anti-nationals in their midst, have begun to petition the Italian Sonia Gandhi who controls the Congress-Communist alliance in power. The Muslims are still pampered by the Government and the media, with major state elections round the corner. One jihadi leader in the Uttar Pradesh state has already demanded that a separate *Muslim Pradesh* (Muslim region) be carved out within its northwestern boundary. This fits in well with the long-term jihadi agenda, going as far back as the 8th century CE, and once again reinvented in the 1940s by the Muslim League. But the world must remember what an Islamic India (in union with all of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal), with a doubled jihadi nuclear and 'conventional' arsenal would mean for the rest of the world. It is time to close our ranks and nurture strong anti-jihadi networking to defeat the barbarians on their own ground.

That within 60 years of freedom from colonial rule India has made its presence felt in all sectors as a global player, despite the severe handicaps inherited from the British Empire, is a testimony to the degree of exploitation it had suffered under the colonial yoke! We continue to suffer from the British anti-Hindu bias, perpetuated by Nehru, India's first Prime Minister, in strong alliance with the communists and the Muslim League. This ensured full play to the Machiavellian politics perpetrated by the leftists in denigration of the Hindu national ethos, under guise of secularism, which is mere euphemism for vote bank politics and appeasement of Muslims.

As a matter of fact, Muslim rule in India had already been finished off in India by a determined Hindu resistance, so that the British eventually took over India not from the Moghuls but from Hindu rulers, barring a few pockets ruled by the Nizams for example. But the communists patronised by Nehru rewrote India's history, in which there was little of note about the Hindu rulers, while singing eulogies to the great Moghuls! In cohorts with a servile media and academia, it managed to achieve extreme splintering of the Hindu vote, by resorting to witch hunts against Hindu leaders, while taking care to keep the Muslim vote bank in tact. They ensured that the Muslims remained backward and were dependent on government largesse.

You go far in the media and the academia like JNU and all others, if you are an avowed Hindu baiter. Patriotic Hindus who speak up, are called *Rabid Hindu Fundamentalists* in the mainstream media. If they slap perpetrators of jihadi mayhem in Mumbai, they must also break the knuckles of the 'Hindu rabble rousers'. The same media even blackballed a plain speaking French writer like Francois Gautier, so the Hindus wouldn't get brainwashed about their history and culture. Only the Left has a monopoly on that, see? So the Muslim invaders and perpetrators of centuries of holocaust against the Hindus in India are called civilisers who brought culture to India!!! As for Christianity in India, do read about the 4-5 centuries long Portuguese Inquisitions in Goa, if you can still access it on the web! That is where the Hindu-baiting Christians in the media come from, besides Kerala!

In this scenario, the KGB had a field day in India in the post-independence scenario and during the Cold War, especially as a patron of leftist opinion of all shades, in politics, the establishment, the media and academia. Many believe Sonia Maino-Gandhi to be a KGB plant, who was privy to all the State secrets as a member of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's household, without even bothering to apply for an Indian citizenship for decades. Her father had shady links to the Mussolini regime, and was arrested and deported to Moscow, to be later employed by the KGB. Sonia attended a seminary in her hometown of Orbassano, Italy, before joining a languages teaching shop in Cambridge, not affiliated to the famous university, to gain proficiency in Russian. A lot of finer details are available in the KGB archives on all that transpired later. Ill-advisedly, Sonia threw her hat in the ring for Prime Ministership in 2004 when the Congress-Left alliance came to power, before she was howled out of reckoning by an incensed citizenry. Now it is her son Rahul, who is being groomed for the Prime Ministership! His sole distinction is a Colombian girl friend, having allegedly attended both Oxford in the UK and Harvard University without the benefit of a degree!

Today, India has a government controlled by the Italian Sonia, a Muslim President and Sikhs as Prime Minister and Chief of the Army. An ‘inspired' media has served to completely muzzle the majority Hindu voice (approx. 80% of the population), which is why the free blogosphere is such a great threat to the government and its masters and must be banned as witnessed in the latest fatwa! Banned are a couple of prominent American blogs like exposingtheleft and mypetjawa.mu.nu, as also hinduunity and hinduhumanrights, but not a single jihadi website in English, Urdu or Arabic has made the list. We have received renewed alerts of vicious jihadi attacks in the near future, following the Mumbai train bombings that have shaken up the nation as never before. The writing is on the wall… But it is the American conservative blogs that are so powerfully voicing, if only by proxy, the shared experience of the Indians regarding the steady advance of the jihadis over crazy ineffectual governance! This refreshing freedom of expression concerning life-and-death issues in the present times represents such a welcome experience for the Indian youth especially. This explains their immense and growing popularity in India.
