True, but what does 'take back' mean?

I am in agreement with your article but there is a fine line between censorship, and censorship by fear. Even though Universities have had this character since the 60's, we certainly have not become a more liberal nation. Patriotism ,like religion, often generates a 'we are the righteous ones and justifies many undesirable actions. Iraq should have been handled by Bush 1, but there were the Arabs to placate. Is Iraq today a different one than the one we fought in Desert Storm? A lot of innocent lives could have been saved by knocking out the Republican Guard.
