The CIA and Jade GoodeReader comment on item: How the West Could Lose Submitted by Mo (United Kingdom), Jan 31, 2007 at 03:20 "Islam changed your sociology nearly a thousand years ago.Or compare yours with Indian Bengal to figure out how Islam has moved sociollogy in Bangladesh. People vote with their feet for idolatorous India." Jade goody comes to mind, anyway, I hope one day you visit Bangladesh and experience first hand how the Christians, Hindus and Muslims are living side by side. There are many Churches where I live back home, and many Temples, there are frequent parades by the Hindus which takes places in the heart of Shylet which is predominantly Muslim. The Hindus invite us Muslims to their many programmes and functions that they have, we accept and go and enjoy their company, we also give them invitations to all of our functions for which they also attend, we have lived in peace side by side for centuries. "If it is not contextual then the Koran considers all idolators of all time unclean and so naturally as a believer you have to avoid your idol-worshipping fellow Bengalis like the plague let alone namaste them. Very heart warming, your belief." "If it is not contextual then the Koran considers all idolators of all time unclean and so naturally as a believer you have to avoid your idol-worshipping fellow Bengalis like the plague let alone namaste them. Very heart warming, your belief." The unclean here is not in the physical sense, but in the religious sense, their practice in not pure therefore it in impure. Idol worshipers during the time of revelation used to perform the Tawaf (circling of the ka'baa) naked, all the Idolaters were restricted from the Holy Mosque. "Reading 58:22 and 9:28 will your pagan friends be distressed?" 58:22 is reaffirming that true love is within faith; this verse was revealed during the times when the companions were fighting against an army who consisted their blood brothers, uncles and fathers. The faithful here were being told of their true allegiance, it is to Islam. "Are you conceding that "need to be dealt with" is your euphemism for fighting the people from the holy places. Why don't you stop using many words when one will do. Let me word my original question differently. You are now in the UK. Saudi Arabia attacks Britain. Where will your loyalties lie. Will you be prepared to kill Muslim Arabs to protect Christians who are your countrymen against your brothers in religion. Remember you have to contend with verse 58:22. and also 3:33 'Allah did choose Adam and Noah, the family of Abraham, and the family of 'Imran above all people,- ' Just a thought experiment again. What was the result of the experiment. I await the result you arrived keenly." I will be honest, I don't know what I'd do, I would seek council from the scholars if such a scenario was to take place, however I will defend England if it is my obligation to. "After exploding all over the world, and the death of quite a few Muslims and a few Christians, you say Muslims have become more aware of your Prophet. What does that tell you of your prophet? People have to die for you to draw closer to your prophet. That is nothing new. It has been happening for 1400 years. Now infidels have also become aware of your prophet and what it takes to be re-acquainted with him. And I will take your word for it." Please do not be so ignorant. People have been aware of the Prophet through the constant mention of his name on the news and elsewhere, people genuinely wanted to find out who he was. That is what I meant; expand upon a subject without looking at the obvious it is quite unbelievable. For a Muslims to get closer to the Prophet (p) they must adhere to the Sunnah, try and imitate the Prophet (p) in as many ways as possible, that is the way to get closer to him, not kill themselves in an outburst of anger. We were told by our scholars across the world about this, but you have those people who allow their emotions get the better of them. "Just a few sentences ago you were saying that changing your cultural ethos to Arab, sorry Islamic, helped unite Muslims all over the world. Not much joy there."Islam could have provided much security if your nosy government were not to interfere with other nations politics" What I understand from that is that Allah's pure religion does not protect your nations against that of the great Satan. Have you ever thought of abandoning ship. Islam, the pure religion of Allah has failed to provide you security. Satan's nose has bested Allah's?" Islam has united the majority of Muslims in the religious sense, that is why in the mosques all races and class come together and pray, exchange hugs and kisses etc. But not so politically; there still exist lines between nations. Islam will provide security when Islam is taken up on the political level by the ruling party. "Care to substantiate what I have underlined. You are a great one for making categorical statements without substantiation. It also supports Saudi Arabia, S Korea, Taiwan, Japan and they don't seem to be starving. If you ask me it is the starving Muslim masses who have been conned into supporting the corrupt leaders of your country. What is the Jamat e Islami, champions of pure Islam, doing in the BNP government. Amassing money I will bet you a taka. And you think I am pig-headed six-year-old minor." Certainly, I would advise you to look into the history of the CIA and its dealing with nations outside the US. The west have been supplying bombs, weapons of mass destruction to people like Saddam, they have supported him and others like him during wars that have killed millions. There are over 73 intervention made by the CIA which directly affected untold numbers of people. You have underlined "The corrupt politicians of Bangladesh have stolen from the public funds hundreds" What, do you not believe this statement? Does that require substantiation? Yes the USA supports many nations, that serve its interests including Japan (which it nuked twice when it was its foe), UK and others, but it has supported nations when it should have condemned it, like Iraq.
