Nobody heard them declare war but since they are uncivilised barbarians who are using (or likely to use) oil as a weapon in this war we are justified in going and taking their oil as war booty. The Prophet Mohammed said those who do not accept Allah and his messenger are in rebellion and must be crushed and booty from them is legal. Muslim is as Muslim does.

You pose a challenge and then in the next sentence you save me the trouble of answering, ie you win. The Koran poses a challenge to 'bring a verse like it' and then declares no one can do it. Muslim is as Muslim does.

And that challenge is inane. This is what I said: 'Did I hear anyone here say it is not about oil but about saving civilisation.' Rhetorical question, not aimed at anyone in particular but it seems it is close to the mark by the alacrity with which you deny it.

Dictionary.com gives one meaning of blackmail. 'To force or coerce into a particular action, statement, etc.: The strikers claimed they were blackmailed into signing the new contract.'

But then what are you doing in Iraq. You could not find a single atom of uranium or molecule of the chemical arms you supplied to Saddam. The uranium you are sure is safely in Syria, and your government has no clue or won't do anything about it. The chemical weapons Saddam exhausted on the Kurds and Shias. And still you went after Saddam. Oh sure you just wanted to have the pleasure of seeing him dangling on a rope and NOT as a lesson to recalcitrant ME dictators and potentates. Plato pleads stupidity again for not seeing that what you say in these two verses (sorry paras) is that you are not advocating going to war for the purpose of grabbing oil. Somebody please write a tafsir to clarify the meaning. Noah already has already told me I need correctional courses in reading comprehension. We need a good Muslim mind here. I am not up to it.

Since oil is a world resource the oil in the US, Russia, Venezuela, wherever should also be under a committe (chaired by the US of course which never been known to blackmail anyone). I am hundred percent with you. Why don't you propose it to your oil companies, your government,Russia. This has the making of a another master plan to save the world of Muslim oil blackmail. And while you are about it include coal, uranium, thorium etc all important energy sources.

Native Americans, they keep coming back like the Phoenix. I have not blamed the crime of Native Indian decimation on the present generation. In fact I absolutely absolved the later generations of it. Just as you bring up the crimes of the Muslims of the past I am reminding you that you have a past too.

The problem for the Muslims is their crimes are still not in their past. As long as there is a future, which your mother of all strategies is likely to destroy, they can also put their crimes in the past like Christianity. Careful with the iced tea now

I have so much to learn from you Professor Noah Wilk. Don't abandon your dumb sishya. (I expect you know what that means since you are into Indian philosophy). I have so much more to learn from you. In the guru-sishya relationship if the guru says: 'You have nothing to offer other than snotty remarks, lies, and distortions', the sishya knows it is just the guru's way of encouragement to learn more. This sishya takes them all as endearing words of endearment.
