Yikes man......Reader comment on item: How the West Could Lose Submitted by Bryan Jackson (Canada), Feb 22, 2007 at 12:49 Not really. What would be truly refreshing would be if people ditched the political correctness nonsense and started telling it like it is, minus the sugar coating and hypersensitive euphemisms. Islam is a death cult, period. It worships death. Muslims pray for death, they idolize and martyr their own children when they engage in acts of barbarity, committing all sorts of atrocities. It does no one any good to call it a "religion of peace" or even a "religion" at all. Death cults don't have 1.3 Billion members and a growing number of conversions in the West. I know such people. I know a white woman who converted to Islam, but still works hard, hates terror and lives a typical western lifestyle. Her imam, who I've met, is quite progressive and extremely smart. I sat in on a prayer session and thought "Geez man, this isn't all that much different from a church." There was a bunch of white people who converted to Islam, and I asked a bunch of them and I didn't find one that supported terrorism in any form whatsoever. I'm not saying it's not possible, I am saying that it would be ineffective. We would literally have to bug the homes of Muslims and the various Muslim mosques, maddrassahs, restaurants, etc. And when we heard their hate speech, we'd have to deport them anyway. I say just skip the whole drawn out messy extra step and just get on with the deportation. They've had more than half a decade since 9/11 to reform their religion and nothing has been done. Let them get out, go back to their Islamic countries, reform their religion, then talk to us about being allowed to return. Great idea. Expel two million American Muslims who have rebuilt their lives here, many of which being sent to their home country is a death sentence. And let them go from a free nation to trryanical one, and force them to give up all of their possessions, just because of some scumbag. That's all good because that person is Muslim, isn't it? That's called racism, and to most of its intolerable. They may be moderate Muslims who don't support terrorism, but because a few are sick and want to attack us, that means they all should suffer. Out goes the "land of the free" comment. Once again, Islam is the issue. If these so-called "moderate" Muslims want to be judged differently and independantly of the terrorists, then they need to dissociate from and denounce terrorism and Islamic fundamentalism. They need to force reform on their religion. Otherwise, they are just as much a part of the problem as the actual terrorists. You think that they aren't trying? i put forth my Muslim friends. I'm White, Roman Catholic and yet I have no issues with Muslims. Everyone needs to be judged the same way. Moderate Muslims are our first line of defense against these maniacs. They should be supported in any way we can. Wrong again. That mess was created because the Muslims were patholocially opposed to the Jews having their own homeland in a traditionally Jewish land. The arabs were greedy, racist, and intolerant. That is where and why the conflict started. Compare the amount of land Israel occupies to the amount of land that Transjordan (now Jordan), Saudi Arabia, and other Muslim countries got in that deal. The Muslims simply do not understand the concept of peaceful coexistence. Never have. Never will. Tell that to a million and a half Israeli Arabs that are involved in all parts of their society. The Jews and Arabs lived together in relative peace for more than 40 years, before they got driven out by force by Israel. That was their land long ago no question, but Israel not only shoved out hundreds of thousands of Palestinians they have proceeded to kill and maim many more since then. I'll tell you how. By moving all the so-called Palestinians back to their original country, Jordan. By killing all the terrorists and terror supporters in Israel. By letting those Muslim countries know that any attack on Israel will result in a retaliatory genocide against the Muslim countries involved. As much as they worship death, they still fear non-existence. Technically, you have it backward. Most Jordanians are actually displaced Palestinians, and you want to add another couple million. (And probably the Israeli Arabs too knowing you - another 1.5M of them.) Retaliatory genocide? You're out of your mind here. And terror supporters - who exactly in Israel is that? A massive chunk of Israel's people want peace to be found with its neighbours. I'll give you a constructive answer. We immediately stop all aid to Muslim countries (humanitarian aid, monetary aid, military aid, etc). Not a single penny, not a single bullet, not a single vial of medicine or even a Band-Aid goes to them. We back Israel fully and without apology. We inform the Muslims that they must reform their religion and become civilized if they want to ever have anything to do with the west. We deport all Muslim from our country and force them to go reform their own homelands along with their religion. We inform them that any major act of Islamic terror against the West will automtically result in the immediate, mandatory, and unhesistant annihilation of Islamic "holy sites" and population centers. Riyadh, Tehran, Amman, the Aswan Dam, etc. The only thing Muslims love is their religion, and if we take out their holy sites and their population centers, their religion becomes non-existent. That they fear. Back Israel fully and without apology? Even when they murder Palestinians in retaliation for terrorism? Even when they are blatantly racist? Good choice there. I've already been through the point of the expelling Muslims. Annihalating Muslims sites to make their situation worse. They have a hard time feeding themselves and disease happens often. The result of your system would be hundreds of millions of Muslim deaths from attacks, wars, disease, famine and conflict. That's not right to the vast majority of the world's people. Muslims have lived amongst us for decades. That hasn't hurt us, has it?...
