To Moderate Muslim: Its put upReader comment on item: How the West Could Lose Submitted by Plato (India), Feb 24, 2007 at 01:01 "You said: Right. Like when he offered the Jews in Medina a chance to convert to Islam, and when they declined, he had them beheaded, thrown into mass graves, and then raped their wives and enslaved their children. I have a news flash for you. That's not freedom of religion. Tell me where in the world you found this disgusting piece of racist BS. If you are going to say something so horrific and horrible, back it up. Put up or shutup." Moderate Muslim, since you are a true Muslim you must accept the evidence of the Shahi hadiths. And the the earliest biography of your prophet is the Sirat Rasul Allah of Ibn Ishaq (edited by Ibn Hisham). Without this biography you are essentially blind about the life of the prophet. Using these sources along with the Koran let us see who has to shut up, you or Susan. Here is an incident in the Sirat regarding the Jewish tribe Banu Quraiza( Pages 461-466). They were accused of having had thoughts of breaking their covenant with the Muslims during the Battle of the Trench. The Prophet had them judged by Saad Muad, who he knew, though a member of the tribe allied to the Quraiza, was antagonistic towards them. This 'judge' pronounced that all the males be beheaded and women and children sold into slavery. On Saad's judgement the Prophet proclaimed 'You have given the judgement of Allah above the seven heavens'. As the sira continues: Then he (the Prophet) sent for them and struck off their heads in those trenches as they brought to him in batches...There were 600 or 700 in all,...." This story is independently confirmed by Bukhari (all hadith references as from the summarised translation of Bukhari by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan) Moderate Muslim, if you manage to ge hold of this biography you will also read that the fate of the Banu Quraiza was decided even before Saad's judgement. You seem disgusted by the fact that anyone can rape the wives of the men of a captured tribe. As a Muslim you should know that women and children are considered legitimate booty when Muslims raid and capture them. Safiya and Reyhana (of the Banu Quraiza) were captives the prophet took as a wife and a concubine. Read hadith No 243 in Bukhari on how the Prophet acquired the Mothers of Believers Safiya. Let us see what Bukhari has to report on captive women. The is about the last of your 'rightly guide caliphs' Ali. Hadith 1679, Bukhari. Narrated Buraida; The Prophet sent Ali to kahlid to bring the Khumus (of the booty) and I hated Ali, and Ali had taken a bath (after a sexual act with a slave-girl from the Khumus). I said to Khalid, 'Don't you see this (i.e.Ali)" When we reached the Prophet, I mentioned that to him. He said, "O Buraida! Do you hate Ali?" I said, "Yes" He said, "Do not hate him, for he deserves more than that from the Khumus'" Now Mr. Moderate Muslim do you as a true Muslim find the behaviour of the 'rightly guided' Ali in having sex with a captive girl disgusting. And what about your Prophet who not only condones what Ali did but considers that Ali apart from raping the sex girl also deserves more from the booty. Another Bukhari hadith (No1634): Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri; "We went out with Allah's Messenger for the Ghazwa (raid) of Banu Al-Mustaliq (read Hadith no 1145 chapter 6 about the surprise attack and his taking of Juwairiya as another wife from among them) and we received captives from among the Arab captives and we desired women and celibacy became hard on us and we loved to do coitus interruptus, we said 'How can we do coitus interruptus without asking Allah's Messenger while he is present among us?' We asked him about it and he said, 'It is better for you not to do so, there is no person that is destined to exist, but will come to existence till the Day of Resurrection.' Here is the Prophet telling the Muslims to go ahead and have sex with the captives and not worry about making them pregnant. Is your Prophet worried about what his men wish to do those poor women? How disgusted are you Mr. Moderate Muslim? Also visit the site: http://www.islamweb.net/ver2/Fatwa/ShowFatwa.php?lang=E&Id=4186&Option=FatwaId. After that come back and tell us like so many other Muslims that Ibn Ishaq is a liar, or that Safiya willingly married the Prophet the day after her husband, father and other relative were slaughtered and lived with Mohammed all his life as the Mother of Believers. Now you know where all those disgusting pieces of racist BS can and is found. Let us also take a look at your second post to Susan. I will accept that there are moderate Muslims out there though they seem very unwilling to stick their necks out for fear of losing their heads. It is my hope (Susan has no such hope) that the tribe of moderate Muslims grows like the tribe of Abu Ben Adhem. " He who kills, it is as if he has killed the whole mankind." With that truncated quote of yours from the Koran you have set yourself up for blasts from all directions. Either you have deliberately not quoted the entire verse or you have picked it up from a Muslim apologist. Read the full verse and the verses before and after and then pontificate a little more on what that verse means. Moderate Muslim you must confront the reality of your religion and not hide behind concocted history, context, translation errors et al and refuse to believe the imams telling you Islam is the most misunderstood religion. Islam is today perhaps the most well-understood religion and what has been understood is not very pleasant. Moderate Muslim you have set yourself up for a clean beheading by Susan and I am going to sharpen the guilliotine for her.
