Apology for not making it with my big Speed Graphic camera

I owe Professor Pipes a big apology for not being able to attend the hearing with my Speed Graphic camera; due to the nasty Nor'easter ice storm pounding the I-95 Corridor. When I went outside to clean off the van getting ready for the 140 mile drive, I slipped and fell twice... And that was BEFORE loading the 50 pounds of gear in my rolling toolbox case into the van.

Then, I came back in and called the House Committee number one more time; and was *still* getting an answering machine; so at that point, looking at all the ice and listening to the KYW and NJ101.5 traffic reports (such as the NJ Turnpike having a 35 MPH speed limit), I decided to throw in the towel on this adventure.

Basically, I was planning on copying the style famed photojournalist David Burnett used for the '04 campaign as well as for a few big Congressional hearings.

Again, I owe not only the Good Professor an apology, but also the entire Middle East Forum community, since my plan was to scan the film and make the images freely available to the MEF.
