1) I never mentioned the word 'Christian' - your current enemies are not the Christians- Christians may be compromised ( in the Middle East and EU) due to what is around them but they are not launching Kassam rockets into Israel nor attempting to kidnap soldiers nor foreign journalists - Please remain 'on topic'

2) I very rarely consider myself to be a second class citizens here in Canada, even if the Quebecois sometimes make me feel like one.

3) I have the right to voice my opinion regarding Israel - as does anybody else on any topic - It is only an opinion - as you say " reaching out to Palestinians", I think, as does Dr. Pipes, as do many of his readers, has been disastrous for Israel. It has been a disaster since Oslo began. Furthermore, this is "anti- Zionism".

Zionism is about self sufficiency, being self reliant, not begging for the King to let you live. Zionism is not reaching out to your enemies. Zionism should be about watching your enemies and attack them before they attack you and make it difficult to attack you. Not easier. As Israel sometimes does ( Egypt Peace treaty, withdrawal from Lebanon and withdrawal from Gaza).

Israel has no reason to "reach out to Palestinians", unless it is in retaliation. Then I agree.

Why do you need me? to join "Peace Now" ? To vote for Meretz? To vote for Beilin? To read David Grossman? You have the great Johnathan Cook whom you respect enough to quote, to help you.

When Israel:

1) retakes the Sinai, provides certain services on demand, including the right to sit in the Knesset,

2) deems its Arab Muslims citizens to no longer citizens, but residents - and as residents it is not obliged to.

I will take temporarily leave of my position and go to Israel to assist the army as a volunteer.
