One liners are useful when you have nothing to say. Single words are useful when you want to confound. And the question was concerning Native Indians and aborigines who lost everything and you deny that they did. Good for your European conscience. Amnesia is good for the soul sometimes.

Nice little twist there saying I constantly deny it. I can understand why you come to the conclusion that I do not accept the perils of Muslim supremacism: you avoid reading my posts except the most recent one. So you have assumption no XXX. You also have another assumption XXX that I say it is more important to talk about native Indians. If you have the time check back and show me where I have said so.

Indeed 'how nice'. Houdini could not have done better in wriggling out of that knot. I may lack in intelligence but had just enough of it to check the meaning of irony and note that you and I use different dictionaries.

No mention of the modern Egyptians. Will you or won't you go ballistic if the present day Egyptian Muslim claimed that his forefathers had a hand in the splendour of ancient Egypt? Your use of the word superior here brings out the meaning of 'irony' in my dictionary very well. We also read different history books. The British left the caste system and the civilisation strictly alone. What it did destroy was a good part of the local economy ((I won't use the word industry as it excites an adverse reaction).

Susan our jousting has now turned from one of gamesmanship to one of one-up-manship which I find is a meaningless exercise and waste of time. You have said that I am not serious in my replies and I take that seriously. It is slowly degenerating from one-liners to one word replies. In some of your replies there seems to be a disconnect with the point raised. Probably some of my comments also have a similar feel and I put it down to trying to see who can come up with the most cutting rejoinder instead of serious consideration of the issues.We have been flogging dead horses over several weeks and with nary a sign of even one of them coming alive.

We are agreed that there is the spectre of Islamic terrorism stalking the world. You want to deal with it one way and that is not my way. I enjoyed this skirmish with you. You are well informed and have a way with words that I find intriguing though not always enlightening. I have learned a lot from these exchanges. I leave the last word to you.
