Good for youReader comment on item: Shoeless George Bush Submitted by Pat (United States), Jul 14, 2007 at 12:31 Chris,There are too many things to respond to, so I'll respond to just two, because I can see we will never agree on most of them and we are simply talking (or writing) past one another. 1. Wahhabists. You try to pretend that Wahhabists are the only source of trouble but you overlook the fact that the Wahhabist sect of Sunni Islam is the dominant sect in Islam today. Blaming everything on Wahhabists doesn't get you anywhere because then you are speaking of the majority of the Muslim community. Say that Wahhabists are the extreme and that means Sunni Islam is extreme because today Sunni Islam is synonymous with Wahhabism. It was once a marginal sect limited to Saudi Arabia and parts of India, but Wahhabism has become the driving force in Sunni Islam, thanks to the unholy alliance between Ibn Saud and Wahhabist clerics. The oil reserves in Arabia and elsewhere in the Middle East financed a wave of Sunni expansion. 2. Cab Drivers I was deeply offended by your suggestion that "the main problem they have is sitting in a car and inhaling all of the alcohol vapors coming from the drunk who will make their cab reek of alcohol, or even worse will vomit alcohol filled vomit all over their cab." So let anyone who feels as they do find another line of work and stop taking up space at the airport. We're not talking about people coming out of a bar reeling. These people were coming off planes and they were being denied service solely because they had clear duty-free bags containing UNOPENED bottles of alcohol. It didn't matter that there wasn't a whiff of alcohol on their breath. Once again, you distort the truth of what is happening. This is an airport and the cab drivers are not roaming looking for customers. They are in a single place that I, as a traveler, have to go in order to receive service. I don't have a choice which cab to take. Would you be so understanding if those cabbies' religion meant they couldn't serve black people or white people or unescorted women? If they're offended by the clientele they would receive in American airports then let them open their own cab service and get the heck out of the airport. They have no right to be there if they are not willing to serve all who come to them. Will it next be against their religion to give a ride to a woman who has hair or flesh exposed? Again, if it's against their religion or if they are allergic to non-Muslims and can only look at a teetotaler in full burkha then I suggest they find another line of work. Keep on making excuses for them. You were treated wonderfully in Saudi Arabia. Good for you. A lot of people weren't so fortunate. I do make an effort to understand WHY they do what they do and I find it offensive in the extreme. I don't give a hoot what their (or your) religion is. None of you have any right to kill or tax me because I won't worship your god. If you were willing to admit the truth you would understand what they are teaching: Allah gradually reduces the land controlled by the unbelievers…21.44 This means the victory of Islam by expropriating and usurping the land of unbelievers. Ibn Kathir, the eminent exegete of the Qur'an simply confirms this. Jalalyn, another formidable Islamic scholar accentuates ibn Kathir by saying that Allah diminishes the land of the unbelievers by granting Muhammad (read Muslims) victory through conquest. One of the earliest Islamic scholars, ibn Abbas (Muhammad's cousin) also writes that Allah seizes the land of the unbelievers by conquering it for Muhammad. Muslims are the legitimate owners and rulers of all infidel lands When the Islamists migrate to an infidel land, they do not enter a foreign land. They are actually occupying a land which Allah has reserved for them. Any Islamist will tell that the entire earth belongs to Allah. Therefore, every Muslim has the inalienable right to move to an infidel land and occupy it for the sake of Allah. Let us read these few verses from the Qur'an. Explained by ibn Kathir, this means Allah has made Muslims the leaders and rulers of mankind through whom He would reform the world and to whom people would submit, so that they would have in exchange a safe security after their fear. Here is another verse: Religious right means freedom to force Islam on infidels In Islam, it is compulsory for all Muslims to propagate the messages of Islam, wherever he/she might be. Thus, when an Islamist migrates to an infidel land, he is duty bound to Allah to convert the Kafirs' to Islam, as many as possible. This is because Allah says that the only religion that should be on earth is Islam. Let us read these verses.
In this verse Allah states that except Islam, there is no religion acceptable to Him from any person. Ibn Kathir writes that Islam includes obeying all of the Messengers until Muhammad, who finalized their commission, thus closing all paths to Allah except through Muhammad. Therefore, after Allah sent Muhammad, whoever meets Allah following a path other than Muhammad's, it will not be accepted of him. Allah will punish him for his rejection, reckon him for his denial, and torment him for defying His Book. The above documentation is not mine. I cannot take credit for it. I suggest you check out this website created by former Muslims for a complete description of the Muslim definition of multiculturalism (which they would use as a weapon against us in our own societies to keep us from defending our own traditions): http://islam-watch.org/AbulKasem/Islamic-Multiculturalism-Endless-Jihad.htm You can say that not all Muslims believe this, but that won't matter. It is still possible even in this day and age for a determined minority to take over a country. It has happened throughout history. You refuse to face the truth because most Muslims are peaceful. I submit that most Muslims are non-committal. They'll live under a caliphate as easily as they do under our Constitution. Non-Muslims are the only ones who will suffer if the former ever comes to pass. Obviously, you're a person who won't be offended or overly affected by Sharia law. Good for you.
