A natural process?Reader comment on item: The Organization of the Islamic Conference Gets Feisty Submitted by GWK (United States), Apr 3, 2008 at 20:53 YNK -- As optimistic as I may seem to be about building a wall against sharia, I would like to temper the optimism a bit. If you were to look at the changing world population dynamics as an organic/biological process, you will see that in the past 50 years, as wealth flowed into the Muslim world, its population exploded exponentially, doubling from 1950-1975, and then more than doubling from 1975-2000. In the meantime, Europe's population peaked and is now in the process of receding as it goes through a self-extermination process. Once, when asked if this had any implications for Western democracies, I had to admit that the process had serious implications for Europe, as it's kindergartens and elementary schools would soon see a transformation to Muslim majorities. If this natural biological process it to be blunted, then the attack against the sharia-ization of the Western world has to include a policy of containment against wextremism and potential islamic extremism. The natural biological process of high Muslim-European birth-rates already threatens Europe's self-identity. Allowing unfettered islamic immigration into a shrinking Europe will lead to civil war in Europe and a weakening of all of Europe's alliances with the rest of the West.
